The BBC’s ‘Traingate’ Attack On Corbyn Is Both Hypocritical And Unfair.

corbyn train

Every single day of the year, BBC news crews do exactly what Jeremy Corbyn’s video crew did on his train journey the other day. They ‘set up’ a shot to make the point or illustrate the story they want to communicate. When the interviewer nods thoughtfully in response to an interviewee’s wise words, it’s all acting. On a single camera shoot you do the cutaways after the interview and edit them in afterwards. If you can’t get the shot you need at the time you’re there, you set it up for the camera.

There’s nothing new, clever or dishonest about this. What is dishonest is the BBC’s use of it to smear and abuse a man who was just doing his job in exactly the same way as a BBC journalist. Of course the anti-Corbyn Fleet Street Mafia has leapt on it with alacrity, a lot more dishonesty, abuse, exaggeration and bile – but what would you expect from the British press?

Self-Serving Hypocrite

Self-Serving Hypocrite

As for Richard Branson, I used to be fan like most of the rest of the country but in the last five years I’ve realised that he is an entirely self-serving, selfish and self-centred individual. Nothing the matter with that either, except that he presents himself as a pious, altruistic and groovy guy who’s down with the common people and on their side.  There’s as much truth in that as there is Branson in Branston pickle. It’s rubbish. On drugs policy Branson is grandstanding and nothing else. His loose change from yesterday’s jeans would transform the British cannabis campaign but he’s too mean to come up even with a tenner. Seeing him wade in with the mob beating up Corbyn and kick him two or three times while he’s down is truly sickening.

The far more serious matter though is the BBC’s hypocrisy and dishonesty which must be a breach of its Royal Charter obligations. The BBC is composed of soft-left Blairites with a powerful built-in default to the status quo. While I don’t support any of the multiple, confused versions of the Labour Party, I’m in even less support of corrupt, dishonest conduct by our national broadcaster.

Cannabis Saves Lives And Cannabis Prohibition Ruins Lives Every Day. All the Media Can Worry About Is Djokovic’s Nose.

leave a comment »

“Someone is getting high, can you smell it?”

The BBC, The Daily Mail, The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, countless international publications, blogs and websites have published this ridiculous story.

Apparently, Novak Djokovic felt “dizzy” because he could smell cannabis during his Rogers Cup semi-final win over Jérémy Chardy in Montreal.  Now let’s be clear, the smell of cannabis comes from terpenes, not from cannabinoids.  It cannot get you high or dizzy.

I’m pleased that Novak recognises the delightful smell of weed.  More and more sportspeople are using it as an aid to recovery.  NFL and rugby players are advised to use it to protect against the dangers of concussion or brain injury.  Stimulating the endocannabinoid system helps to promote healing and growth. Not long before cannabis is ruled out of sport as a performance enhancer, not just because of blind prejudice against a safer recreational drug.

But it is sickening that so much coverage is given to this when across the world there are so many more important stories about the almost miraculous,  life saving, therapeutic effects of cannabis.  Similarly, there are important but tragic stories of people being incarcerated for growing the plant or treating their illness with it.  There are disgusting stories of corruption in governments, parliaments and bureaucracies where lies and misinformation about cannabis are promoted, mainly to protect vested interests in the alcohol and law enforcement industries.

All the media is interested in is this sort of trivial nonsense, unless of course it’s some mythological scare story about mental illness or deranged axe murderers.  A free press is a valuable and essential part of our pretence at democracy. We also need freedom from the lies, misinformation and corrupt agendas of press barons and editors.

It’s Time To Stand Up To The Gangsters From The Fleet Street Mafia.

Brooks Newmark, Victim.

Brooks Newmark, Victim.

There is no excuse for the Sunday Mirror’s entrapment of Brooks Newmark.  It clearly amounts to a criminal offence under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.  For causing someone to engage in sexual activity without consent the penalty is up to 10 years in jail and both the freelance journalist concerned and the Mirror’s weekend editor Alison Phillips should be charged forthwith.

The subterfuge involved is also in clear breach of the Editors’ Code and the newly created, sham press regulator, IPSO, should act.  Mind you that’s like asking the mafia to lock up its gangsters.  It’s not going to happen.  IPSO and the sickening parasites who set up this fraud as a successor to the corrupt PCC are the problem and no part of the solution.

Alison Phillips, Sexual Offender

Alison Phillips, Sexual Offender

The only defence to the use of subterfuge under the Editors’ Code is if it is in the public interest.  After their disgraceful record over many years, anyone who thinks that Fleet Street can judge what is in the public interest, must be a Daily Mail reporter.  This sting has achieved absolutely nothing except to show that a man is vulnerable to the provocative enticement of an extremely attractive woman.  Frankly, Brooks Newmark would be either gay or impotent if he wasn’t sorely tempted by the delicious 22-year-old Swedish model Malin Sahlén, whose photograph was stolen by the Mirror and used to entrap the MP.

This is all part of the sickening hypocrisy, prurience and dishonesty which pervades Fleet Street.  Just like the banks, our pathetic and weak leaders, even in the face of the Leveson Inquiry, allow so-called journalists to act with impunity.  These aren’t journalists, they are malevolent, predatory criminal abusers and they should face the full force of the law.  The crime is aggravated because it is committed for financial gain and is deeply corrupting of our media and our society.

Malin Sahlén. Who Wouldn't?

Malin Sahlén. Who Wouldn’t?

Another side to Fleet Street’s abuse of its power and hypocrisy is the revolting Camilla Long of the Sunday Times, who has been instrumental in the harassment and malicious prosecution of Dave Lee Travis – another life sacrificed on the altar of Fleet Street malice.  This vile bitch, for there can be no other description has misused her power in the media to launch the most repellent attacks on a man who is clearly innocent of any criminal intent.  I don’t know what is behind her abuse.  Perhaps she is sexually frigid and socially inept, incapable of handling herself in a situation of mild flirtation.  More likely she is doing it for the money and if you take a moment to look at the smug, patronising drivel she writes in the Sunday Times, she is obviously in desperate need of material.

As if we didn’t know already that Cameron’s cowardly retreat from Leveson would result in more abuse from Fleet Street.  Newmark must feel an idiot and highly embarrassed but it seems to me he has done nothing wrong except as far as his wife is concerned.  That he was a government minister should have made him more cautious but should afford him stronger protection under the law, just as he might have a bodyguard or personal security against physical attack.  The offences against him should therefore result in very severe sentences and the Sunday Mirror should go the same way as the News of the World.

Vote ‘YES’ Scotland!

scottish piper

If all the people, politicians, institutions, banks and monopoly businesses who are responsible for the terrible injustices and inequalities in our society are so desperate for a ‘NO’ vote, what should that tell you?

That Cameron, all his disgusting, self-serving cronies, Miliband and Clegg are terrified, scared and panicking, what should that tell you?

When all the members of the Fleet Street Mafia: dishonest, manipulative, gutter press editors and seedy proprietors want Scotland to vote ‘NO’, what should that tell you?

When the UK parliament does all it can to prolong the sick perversion of democracy  that is Britain in the EU, what should that tell you?

Please vote ‘YES’ Scotland!

Why I’d Be Voting Yes If I Lived In Scotland.

Yes-PA

I think it will be a tragedy of immeasurable proportions if Scotland becomes an independent nation.  As a proud Briton, I am first and foremost a Welshman but Britain is a great nation and I would not argue for independence for Wales.

The Scottish referendum though offers an opportunity which must not be missed.  The corrupt, out of touch Westminster elite must be brought down. This is a chance that we may not have again. The alternative of guillotines in Parliament Square is tempting but unlikely.

Cameron, Miliband and the exclusive tribe of privately educated, independently wealthy politicians have seized this country for themselves.  They have conspired with bankers and the Fleet Street Mafia to create an oligarchy which deprives the people of any real or effective say in our nation.  Together they set the news agenda and control what we say, do and think.

They enact policies that suit them irrespective of public opinion.  They deny science and evidence at a whim.  They deceive and misinform as a matter of course.  When it suits them they use the modest threat of international terrorism to terrorise and subjugate us.  They are traitors to Britain.  The United Kingdom has become their vehicle for repression, oppression and an ever expanding state that keeps the proletariat under control.

So, it would be with great regret that I would vote ‘Yes’ to Scottish independence.  Not that I want to split Britain up but I see no other way of rolling back the self-serving, authoritarian enemy that has destroyed our democracy and taken control of both Parliament and Whitehall.

Snooper’s Charter. This Is Why Americans Keep Their Guns.

with 2 comments

“You can have my guns when you take them from my cold, dead hands.”

“You can have my guns when you take them from my cold, dead hands.”

Nick Clegg has caved in again.  Norman Baker sat next to the most monstrous woman in British politics as she sneaked her snide subversion of our freedom through parliament. These people are ‘Liberal Democrats’?

It is all decided.  There is nothing we can do.  Parliament adjourns in less than a fortnight.  There’s little your MP could do for you anyway, even if he or she had the balls to stand up against this railroading of fundamental changes to our rights.  The leadership of the main parties have conspired to pervert our democracy to their own ends. In America they would be put on trial for treason.  This is why Americans keep their guns. It is some protection against an overbearing state.

Meanwhile, in London, Boris Johnson’s water cannons have arrived. Julian Assange is still holed up in the Ecuador embassy. Edward Snowden, the great American hero is running for his life in Russia.

Bring the Guillotines To Parliament Square!

Bring the Guillotines To Parliament Square!

At least America has a constitution. British democracy is a sick joke. We have no control over our government.  Elections are meaningless.  Politicians are a self-serving, incestuous elite, part of the tripartite oligarchy with the Fleet Street Mafia and the bankers.  We are the servants of the state.  We can’t even determine the issues that the media and parliament consider.  Their agenda and priorities are imposed on us.  We can’t enact local medicinal cannabis laws as 23 states have in the US, where the people have instructed the government what to do.  We can’t define the debate on education, the health service or foreign policy.  We must just do what we’re told.

We let these people take our guns away from us – and we were foolish to do so.  After the water cannons, what comes next?

Farage On Marr. A Towering Performance.

Nigel Farage, The Andrew Marr Show, 1st June 2014

Nigel Farage, The Marr Show, 1st June 2014

This was Nigel Farage at his very best: the man of the people, relaxed but determined, fair minded but firm, tolerant but strong, patriotic but generous.  Really it couldn’t have gone any better.

All the vile abuse hurled at him by the small men and women of the media and the political establishment, the disgraceful BBC bias, the blatant hypocrisy of Tory and Labour that ferment conflict within our country every day.  Nigel dealt with them all with a smile and good grace.

He is stronger than ever.  The UKIP policies that he hinted at seem sensible and popular. Protest votes will be hardening into solid support.  Britain now despises the identikit Cameron, Miliband, Duncan Smith, Balls and the rest.  The chattering idiots at the Guardian and the BBC  and the Bullingdon Club associate members at the Telegraph and the Times.  They’re all as out of touch as each other.  The Fleet Street Mafia is as disgraced as the members of the cabinet and shadow cabinet.  We want none of you anymore!
