I’ve seen this before, its very good and gives a certain perspective. I do think the title is a little misleading though as there is no 2 pint version of a pill. Either your mashed or not!

I wonder how those serving a prison sentance for ecstasy feel watching this. Yet if you deal in booze or tobacco your commended! The scandal continues!

Agreed Bob, its a great injustice. I believe that the largest danger to the individual is caused by the illegality and furthermore, the government’s continued stance of prohibition is far more dangerous than most drugs in an unadulterated form. Because of these laws, drugs are far more dangerous but, they appear to have little if no conscience that their actions result in pain and suffering and considerable harm to millions of people across the world.

Yes, there is definitely a certain smugness in their manner. To be honest i don’t think they give the slightest shit about anyone other than themselves otherwise, changes would already have been made for the improvement of safety of those who dabble. There is simply no argument they can muster to defend their criminal position. Science is disregarded as is sense. Its not just a breech of human rights at a basic level but further than this it appears that the rule insists maximum harm is done to the community plus of course they insist on bank rolling violent and immoral (much like them) criminals.

I saw Broken Britain celebrating the impurity of Cocaine during the Ainsworth Debate. It only further demonstrates his ignorance. The question is why is this fool still in post?
People surely cannot be sent to prison for Ecstasy when its obviously safer (when you know the dose / purity) than Booze.

Yes, America are miles ahead. You’ve only got to look at the state of play in California to see that they are very nearly there. You can get a prescription for weed based on pretty much any medical condition. Again, its ironic that they made the rules in the first place and yet their people do have a choice something we can only dream of.

One major problem is that our government is not able to lift prohibition until the USA has done so ( and then given them permission to do the same) !
Brokenshire is just a scapegoat. In a few years time when child drug usage continues to increase to the point that even the government can not ignore it any longer, the scapegoat that drove prohibition will get what is due to him.

Not true Cupid. This is an excuse used by UK ministers in the past. The UN convention and international treaties specifically provide for countries to “derogate” from their provisions if they believe a different policy to be in their national interest. Furthermore, if you look at its exact terms, the UN convention is aimed at the criminal supply chain and not at individual possession or use.

Its a bloody sham is what is. A complete disgrace with both blatant disregard for the safety and well being of our people and those poor unfortunates who find themselves born in the likes of Mexico. I read an article earlier entitled six more drug related murders in Mexico. Poor people. Its time that the press started to tell the truth and starting singing to the tune of…’Government policy results in needless deaths of innocents again and again and again and again…………’
How they can live their lives with the knowledge that as a direct result of their (US really) policy that people die and suffer on mass.
I’m not easily moved by the continued bs politicians pump out, I suspect most is due to their vigorous inbreeding but, this is so fundamentally wrong.
On a slightly different note, the press is reporting that the Miners in Chile were supplied weed during their ordeal. Its amazing how BS can be dropped when there is a need.
