Get This Man Out Of My Country NOW!

Pointless Pompous Pontification

He is a monster, a walking, talking blasphemy and perversion of the whole idea of God.

He is not welcome.

He is not wanted.

Throw him out and kick him in the backside so that he sprawls in the gutter as he goes.

  1. Peter,

Thanks for your other heads-up as they say – about the idiot Code Pink woman wanting the same for TB – although then again, she wants him in jail. No trial, presumably.

But I don’t agree with you on this though, despite my (often) thinking the only thing we should hang people for is the abuse of children. And despite my, like you, being an intellectually reasoned agnostic.

Perhaps, like the Code-Pinkers on Blair, you (think) know more personal things about Ratzinger than I do.

Did you hear about this the other day, btw?

    Me neither.

    • I was just about to send you a link to this piece. I wanted to remind you that I’m still waiting to hear your alternative candidates to the Catholic Church for the institution responsible for more evil in the last 2000 years than any other – or can’t you think of one?

      • I think I DID respond, Peter. With something to the effect that SOME would say the Catholic Church is the institution responsible for most good in the world in the last 2000 years. But what do I know, not being a catholic? I also admit to having no interest in researching religion in any depth. Life is short, and many others have already invented that particular wheel.

I certainly think that without CHRISTIANITY, from whose roots developed DEMOCRACY there is another religion hovering in the wings. An undemocratic political religion. Perhaps one a touch more responsible for “evil” than Catholicism?

That’s the issue facing the world today, as Anglicanism becomes less and less powerful and influential and seems to have lost its ‘liberal’ way.

A little like – which is the worse evil?

      • The Crusades, the Inquisition, the witch hunts, the oppression of the poor, of the Jews, the abuse of children, the theft of land and property, the mass deception of humanity, the cover up of guilt and responsibility for all these things, the prohibition of contraception and abortion. It’s an appalling total of evil and misery and death. Frankly, I doubt that Islam even comes close.

  2. We are a Church of England nation; Catholoisim is not our main religion, it is merely a sect; I grant you a big one none the less not the prinicple Religion.

In any case, there are so many Religions represented in this Country now, and fewer people going to church than ever before, is it anywonder people really give a hoot about whether he is visiting Britain; apart from the fanatics anyway.

    • The man is an irrelevance. I resent every single penny of the £12 million his visit is costing us.

      • The Catholic Church has built hospitals, universities, the western legal system, innumerable scientific contributions, is a huge contributor to charities. I’m not one, and am never likely to be. But I think if we are talking about TODAY Peter, the idea that Islam compares favourably is well, a bit of a laugh!

There are, it seems around 7 million RCs in Britain. That’s about the same number of Muslims. So, happy now?

Next time(!?) a Roman Catholic blows us up in God’s name, I’ll shrug and say, as they say in the land of your birth, P, “fair dos.”

      • I just edited my previous comment to include prohibition of abortion and contraception. Given the human toll of that evil doctrine in Africa I’m still not sure that Islam is worse, even in the present day.

I acknowledge the good that individual Catholics and Christians do. Nothing can compensate for institutionalised evil.
