Why assume that cannabis isn’t already been offered to cancer patients? Don’t forget here in the uk we have the best oncology hospitals nurses and doctors in the world funded by the NHS. Pay a visit someday, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised! I recommend the Royal Marsden Sutton in Surrey

On the whole I found this short film informative and accurate. However when concern is expressed about the tar in inhaled cannabis I did not feel they had a full grasp of the facts. They imply that the tar in cannabis is the same as the tar in tobacco, whereas this is not the case. Cannabis tar is very easily dissolved with many organic solvents, mainly alcohols. This is not the case with tobacco tar which is extremely difficult to remove with any solvent at all. Now our bodies circulate various alcohols for cleaning purposes, including cleaning the lungs, and so cannabis tar will be naturally cleaned away, whereas tobacco tar will not. This is something I have worked out for myself from cleaning bongs and pipes, and then later reading about alcohols in the body, and why there could never be a ‘zero limit’ for drink driving, as no-one ever has zero alcohol in their body. I feel this information needs to be more widely known.

Thanks for posting the interview. More importantly, thanks for your efforts to forward an intelligent and activist position on cannabis policy.
